From high school poetry contests and scholarships for short stories to crafting mind-bending fiction, Shan offers a unique perspective on every project. As a passionate advocate for faith-based writing, she is dedicated to creating inspirational articles that resonate with readers. For the past 16 years, Shan has been a blogger and freelance writer, even maintaining a single mother blog to share her experiences. She is currently focused on editing her first novel.

The path to this particular fork in the road has not been a straight one. With a Master's degree in Non-Profit Management, Shan has spent most of her adult life in non-profit leadership, secretly engaging in freelance and ghost writing, all while her own books remain unpublished. This journey, filled with obstacles and diversions, has led Shan to recently embrace the profoundness of her true self and the divine inspiration to create faith-based writing that reflects what God has placed within her. Now, she dedicates her days to crafting inspirational articles that resonate with her audience, writing books that entertain, and developing grant proposals that fund transformational programming in limited-resourced, underrepresented communities—all while sharing her experiences as a single mother through her blog.
