Intrigued by all the ways that modern Christians commandeer space in the world, she is relentlessly inspired by the way in which one of the Bible's shortest books so profoundly influences the journey of womanhood.

From high school poetry contests and scholarships for short stories, to mind-bending fiction, Shan brings a unique perspective to every project.

The path to this particular fork in the road has not been a straight one. With a Master's degree in Non-Profit Mgmt., Shan worked most of her adult life in non-profit leadership, secretly freelance and ghost writing, while her own books remain unpublished.

A journey fraught with obstacles and diversions, Shan has only recently embraced the profoundness of her true self and the divine inspiration to write what God has placed within her. 

She now spends her days writing articles that engage & inspire, books that entertain, and grant proposals that fund transformational programming in limited-resourced, underrepresented communities.
